Our client is a main provider of software developing services in the transport industry, based in Brussels with offices close to a main railway station.
Functieomschrijving
The position entails a hybrid role that combines the skills of a Release Train Engineer & Technical Product Manager.
Release Train Engineer:
- You coordinate and manage the Release Train.
- You plan and organize product development activities from conception to delivery
- You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify user needs and ensure products meet customer requirements.
- You optimize the methodology used in the organization through the right use of tools and continuous improvement.
- You ensure coordination and communication between different teams in the company, ensuring all members are informed about project and release statuses.
Technical Product Manager:
- You understand customer needs and develop strategies on the products to meet customer demands.
- You work with the necessary departments to implement the right technology, and monitor progress.
- You explore new ways of improving existing services and products.
- You act as an escalation point for incidents, problems and service requests within your application portfolio.
- You own the technical backlog and defend it to the Change Control Board
- You collaborate with a wide range of people to identify and define business needs, understand the solution context and develop the vision, roadmap and features
- You manage the full lifecycle of the assigned applications/components from the ideation phase until they are in production as well as to take them out of production.
Vereiste ervaring
- Experience in DevOps & Agile Methodologie SAFe.
- 3-5 years of previous release and/or project management experience.
- Technical background allowing you to manage the technology lifecycle of your product.
- Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.
- Coordinate cross-functional work teams.
- Adaptable and flexible in ways of thinking & acting
- You are fluent in French or Dutch and English.
