For our customer, who is an important player of fresh ready meals in the Gent region, we are looking for a production line manager.
What do we expect from you?
You are responsible for the correct and efficient packaging of the freshly prepared dishes and meal components.
This means that you:
- Various filling and packaging machines operated in the production department
- Frequently rebuilds the assembly line for a new dish: putting on foil, adjusting and adjusting welding seam and temperature, adjusting pumps, adjusting printer, checkweigher and metal detector, …
- Performs minor technical interventions in the event of line malfunctions
- Ensures the distribution and correct execution of tasks to and by the multifunctional employees on the line (1-5 people)
- Also actively helps on the production line
- Performs quality and safety checks on the line and ensures correct registration of these on quality documents
- Contributes to a hygienic and safe working environment
What we ask:
- You have technical insight to be able to mechanically convert and adjust the machines
- You work in a planned and structured way
- You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves
- You like to work in a team
- You closely follow the hygiene and quality measures
- You want to work in a 2-shift system
- You are in excellent physical condition and can handle physical work well
- You have a good knowledge English or Dutch
