We are looking for a Procurement Coordinator (Automation) Consultant for one of our clients based in Wavre.

  • key responsibilities

    Global Procurement support:

    • Support category initiatives within Automation scope

    • Lead contract negotiations with Automation vendors (including all commercial conditions, SLA, TPRM and Cyber Security schedules, annual rebates etc)

    • Manage supplier events (Supplier Day etc)

    • Deliver and register savings from Capex projects (Cash Improvement, P&L Protection etc)

    Procurement CAPEX Support for Global Engineering:

    • Project Support:

      • Partner with the Automation CAPEX Investment Team team to support successful project delivery (cost, quality, time) against business targets, customer expectations, compliance requirements and total cost of ownership

      • Ensure key project drivers are compliant with the procurement procedures and follow internal processes according to the RACI defined in the ITT

      • Coordinate escalation activities and communication with suppliers aiming to resolve issues in accordance with project cost & schedule

    • Portfolio Support:

      • Lead the ITT process to establish a portfolio of Automation Engineering Offices and System Integrators

      • Efficiently manage Stakeholder relationships with internal Customers and external Suppliers

      • Support Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for the category (Business Review Meetings, Sponsor meetings, performance evaluation, continuous improvement plans follow-up)

      • Carry out Supplier due diligence & performance evaluation

      • Engage and manage Supplier base against defined contractual terms, SLA’s and framework agreement

      • Manage a Procurement Project Register according to the standard template and keep this up to date for all major purchases. Prepare for monthly review of this register with your N+ 1 and the company’s portfolio Director.

  • qualifications

    • Experience in CAPEX Procurement (minimum 5 years)

    • Highly skilled in stakeholder management

    • Experienced in working with high-value and complexity projects

    • Excellent negotiations skills

    • Familiar with Automation in Pharma Industry (will be additional advantage)

    • Fluent in English and French
