We are looking for a Services Buyer Consultant for one of our clients based in Chareleroi.

• key responsibilities

  • Supplier relationship:

  • Support global supplier panel relationship

  • Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances) Monitor day to day suppliers performances and issues Management of initial issues before escalation to line manage

  • Respect the company’s code of ethics and guidelines

  • Commodity support on site:

  • Consolidation of commodity needs, inputs

  • Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration

  • Provide imputes to build differentiation

  • Support of Commodity Manager in tender phase

  • Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.

  • Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving

  • Apply the company’s Sourcing process, and provide return on experience.

  • Involvement in projects:

  • Coordinate project with all Metiers

  • Preparation and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard tool

  • Lead project negotiation

  • Monitor sourcing project QCDT & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)

  • Ensure work package sheet commitment respect

  • Prepare Business Award Promoting the company’s Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

• qualifications

  Degree and experience:

  • Educational Requirements Mandatory: Business School or Engineering school (ideally Master in Purchasing)

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in industry

  • International background is a must

  Languages:

  • Fluent English

  Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, ability to convince)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Internal and external influencing skills

  • Negotiation

  • Teamwork

  • Willingness to take initiative

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment

  • Comprehensive knowledge of commodities in area of specialization
